Aid Charles and Sharon in Their Time of Need

Hello,

My name is Charles Parrott. I have been with my wife, Sharon, for over 40 years. As you might imagine, things are winding down for us. I'm 63 and my wife is 71. We've worked hard all of our lives, only to have all of our resources and savings wiped out in the past year because of illness. Since last April, I've been confined to either bed or a wheelchair due to Stenosis of the spine stemming from a serious car accident as a pedestrian at the age of 18. This accident also claimed the life of my first wife. I only mention this because it was the beginning of life-long struggles with my legs and back. Now, like many seniors in America, we're facing challenges that we're unable to master in our twilight years. Our current rental home has become untenable due to rent increases. My medical situation is dire because of being in a wheelchair or bed directly related to partial paralysis from the Stenosis. I also had to have my colon removed due to a blockage that was caused by a family genetic flaw. Due to this, I now have to wear a colostomy bag. I also have serious Arterial Fibrallation which I was on medication for until I lost my medicaid earlier this year. Also during this time, my wife underwent surgery for a coronary blockage that included the installation of a heart stent. All things considered, it's been a rocky road. We're both gratefull to still be alive, however... Between us both, We only recieve $1700 a month in SS. That's it, hence our emergency if we have to suddenly move. With no savings anymore, and berely any credit, we could easily end up homeless or in a shelter where we would surely be seperated. We have no family or children to call on, and few to no friends who are in a position to help. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Any and all funds recieved will go towards us finding a new apartment or home, as well as the funds to pay movers since we're not physicaly capable of such things anymore.
