Help Chanika Hall Heal & Support Her Family After Her Double Lung Transplant After a year of waiting, Chanika has finally received the life-saving double lung transplant she desperately needed.

She’s beginning to heal, but the financial strain is overwhelming. Right now, we need urgent help to cover essential costs—mortgage, utilities, medical bills, and ensuring her children are safe and taken care of. On January 31, 2024, Chanika was diagnosed with an unrepairable lung disease caused by Pneumonia. The damage to her lungs was so severe that without a lung transplant she was given a maximum of a year to live. Almost exactly a year later, on February 10, 2025, Chanika received the new lungs she has been waiting for!

This past year has been incredibly tough. Chanika has missed so much of her son Chace’s senior year of high school, including his final basketball season before heading to college. For those of you who know Chanika, you know her kids mean everything to her! Now, as she focuses on recovery, we want to relieve some of the financial stress so she can concentrate on healing, be present for her children but specifically Chace, and begin to rebuild their lives without worrying about losing their home.

Throughout this journey, Chanika has been deeply moved by the outpouring of love and support. She is beyond grateful for every prayer, message, visit, and moment of kindness—from those who sat with her in the hospital to those who lifted her up with words of encouragement.
