Hi everyone,

My name is Aaron Henry, and I’m the General Manager of Park Tavern, a restaurant near the United Center. I’m reaching out on behalf of our head bartender, Cesar Lopez, who recently faced a serious medical emergency.

Cesar had been experiencing painful headaches for a week, and when they became unbearable, he went to the emergency room. Doctors discovered a benign tumor behind his right eye and immediately rushed him into surgery. To remove the tumor, they had to cut through his nasal cavity and later reconstruct it.

Now, Cesar is dealing with severe headaches, temporary blindness in his right eye, and partial facial paralysis. He is being discharged from the hospital tomorrow (May 23rd) and will need at least a month off work to recover.

Cesar is an incredible person and an essential part of our team. Any support you can offer during this difficult time would mean the world to him. Every contribution—big or small—will help him focus on healing without added financial stress.
