While lifting an exceptionally heavy box, his arm was torn from his shoulder. After months of severe pain while waiting for clearance for surgery (while being refused pain killers) he was finally able to have his shoulder repaired and will now begin a long journey of rehab and healing.
It's time to step up and help our friend through this tough time by removing at least a part of the severe mental stress that the financial toll of this situation has taken on him and his family.
