I'm Nick Lennon, a close friend to Catherine and Kia. I met the two on their wedding weekend with my then-new boyfriend, Gregg, back in September 2010. Since then, we've moved across the country to California and had to be neighbors in Altadena.

Catherine and Kia Thomas have devastatingly lost their home to the Eaton Canyon fires in Altadena, CA. Luckily, they are safe along with their 2 dogs, Harlow and River, but sadly they have lost everything.

The two of them will be using these generous donations to purchase furniture such as desks for their work, new desktop computers, bedroom furniture, a mattress, bedding, a couch, electronics, kitchenware, toiletries, not to mention their entire wardrobes, dog beds, dog toys, and so much more.

Catherine and Kia evacuated their home in Altadena late on the 7th with the thought, like so many others in the area, that they’d be back home the next day. Since they were both working from home the next day they wore their comfy clothes, grabbed the dogs, and left; Kia is a musician and didn’t pack any of his guitars or equipment.
