Aid Catherine Hendrix in Her Fight Against Cancer

Hello dear family and friends,

I'll start by saying that this is my first time creating a GoFundMe page. It is not a bucket list item for me. I was hoping I could make it through this life without feeling compelled to. But here I am, creating a GoFundMe page for my sweet and amazing niece, Catherine Hendrix. She is a young, beautiful, single mom of three incredible boys ages 16, 13, and 9. She works as a medical technologist specialist. She is aware I am doing this and is okay with it, though it would be entirely out of her nature to do this for herself. You see, she was recently diagnosed with stage 2 rectal cancer for which she is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment. These treatments, as you can imagine, are arduous, take a huge amount of time and energy, and require unimaginable physical and emotional tenacity. Though she has tried, her ability to continue full-time work has been challenging, to say the least, and that challenge will only intensify as she moves deeper into treatment. She will get through this, but it will take time and it will be difficult.

My ask is that we circle the wagons, if you will, around our sweet Catherine and help her to be able to focus fully on her healing, on caring well for her boys, and reduce the toll that stress can take on a body's ability to fight this fight.

One thing I know for sure - we come together with love at moments when it really counts. This is one of those moments. Anything you can offer would be amazing and greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading this and sharing it forward.
