Hi, my name is Cheyenne, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my amazing mom, Carri.
Last year, my mother was diagnosed with Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). After several painful and difficult surgeries to try and save her leg, she ultimately lost that battle, and doctors had no choice but to perform a life-altering amputation. This has been one of the most emotional and challenging times our family has ever faced.
My mom is the strongest, most selfless woman I know — always putting others before herself, even during the hardest moments. Now, she and my dad are navigating a whole new reality filled with physical, emotional, and financial obstacles.
The recovery process is overwhelming. From mounting medical bills and ongoing follow-up care to the cost of physical therapy, prosthetics, and making their home accessible — not to mention lost income — the weight of it all is too much for them to carry alone. My dad is doing everything he can, but the financial strain is immense.
That’s why I’m creating this fundraiser: to help ease some of that burden and allow my parents to focus on healing and adapting to this new chapter. Donations will go toward:
• Medical bills and ongoing care
• Physical therapy and prosthetics
• Home modifications for accessibility
• Everyday living expenses during this transition
If you’re able to donate or even just share this message, it would mean the world to our family. Every bit of support helps and brings us one step closer to stability and hope.
Thank you so much for your kindness, your prayers, and your generosity.
With love,
Cheyenne.
