I never thought I’d write something like this, but my sister Caroline needs us now.
Caroline has always chased life with open arms—backpacking new cities, learning the local recipes, laughing loud enough to turn heads. On one of those adventures she met her husband. They built a life together, and last month they finally bought a house. They were finally supposed to settle down and welcome their second child in peace.
Then the missiles started falling.
Caroline grabbed her toddler, threw a few diapers and picture books into a backpack, and fled to a quieter town just outside the conflict zone. She’s safe for the moment, but without her husband’s income the rent is crushing. Some nights she wonders if she should risk the 17-hour journey back toward danger just so they can be together again.
I’m asking for your help so that doesn’t have to happen.
$4,500 will cover three months of modest housing far from the fighting.
$1,200 will pay for basic prenatal check-ups and vitamins.
$500 will cover the cost of the long, overland trip that will finally reunite her husband with his family once it’s safe for him to travel.
Anything you can spare—$10, $25, the price of your morning coffee—buys Caroline and her babies another day of safety and one step closer to being a family under one roof again.
Please give, pray, and share. Your kindness means Caroline can choose hope over fear, making decisions rooted in safety, not out of financial desperation, and welcome her new baby in safety. From our family to yours, thank you.
