My name is Kristi. I’m the mother of Carolee. My daughter found out she was going to become a mom in June of 2024! The most blessed and exciting news to Carolee and her fiancée, CJ, and our beautiful family. The planning started immediately, filled with excitement for our first grandchild.

Fast forward to November, and CJ broke his foot. He was out of work for an unknown amount of time. Carolee was still working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, trying to fill in the gaps. She worked right up until 8 months pregnant. Financially, they were not able to start their goal of saving to buy their first home! Family has been amazing in helping where we all can.

In March 2025, Carter Jon was born healthy and perfect! We are all ecstatic! When Carter was 16 days old, Carolee experienced a strange episode where the whole right side of her body went numb and she lost her balance. These episodes came on very quickly and often, sometimes 20 a day. The next couple of weeks were spent doing various tests to figure out the cause of this, all while trying to care for a newborn baby! On May 14, the doctors called to tell Carolee she has Multiple Sclerosis. The absolute last thing anyone expected to hear!

At this time, Carolee is unable to return to work or drive. I would love to give them a cushion to rely on while she navigates the coming months and figures out a long-term treatment plan. No one ever expects these life-altering moments, but they happen, and I want to reduce as much stress for them as possible. This way, they can focus on her health and raising this beautiful, perfect baby.

It takes a village sometimes and I am asking for all my villagers to come forward in any way you can! Thank you all ♥️
