We are raising funds for Calvin’s journey with the removal of his benign tumor/hemangioma vs venous vascular malformation of the mandible. Calvin’s case is very rare. His is acting aggressive and destructive. Calvin has been doing

sclerotherapy injections down at the Mayo in hopes that it would shrink and stop growing. Unfortunately it has not, It has taken all of his soft tissue and now chips of his jaw bone. Surgical intervention needs to be done where Calvin has to choose from taking bone from his femur or hip. They will be removing the front of his jaw and lower teeth. This surgery will be 6-8 hours and we will be down there for a week following a 3-month recovery. He will then need to have several more appointments and another surgery back down at the Mayo. We were hoping to make it to graduation before this happens but are waiting to hear from his surgeon if this needs to be done sooner. Calvin is such a strong, loving, and caring young man. Two years ago, he had a total ACL surgery, and after his recovery, his team of doctors said he can’t play in contact sports anymore. Sports were his passion. He still is positive and continues to go to the gym. Anything raised will go for Amber’s car repair as she needs a used transmission to be going back and forth to the Mayo, the gas/hotel stays, and for whatever Calvin needs at home to help him be comfortable. Amber is hoping to stay at home with Calvin for the first month of recovery. We sincerely appreciate any help for them at this time and prayers!
