If you know me, you know Buster.
If you don't know me, let me tell you about Mr. Buster Beans.
Buster is 7yrs old and has been with me since he was a 10-month-old puppy, a bribe to move to Florida actually. He grew up running with his two biological sisters on the farm. He has traveled up and down the country with me. Buster is my registered Service Dog who goes to therapy appointments with me and has not only brightened my days, but also those of everyone he meets. He has been trained to do public access work, and we love to go everywhere we can together. He has a canine brother, Bacon, and two feline siblings now who love him dearly. He loves to zoom around the house and chew on stuffies while making some of the funniest noises you'll hear out of a dog. He greets everyone with his big Buster smile and floppy ears that love to flip inside out when he gets excited. He has many dog friends, and they love to chase and play tug with each other.
Buster is currently suffering from a cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tear on his right hind leg and needs your help. He is going to need surgery to fix the torn CCL. For those of you who don't know what a CCL is, it is pretty much the ACL in humans.
We really need help getting him back to his normal, playful self. Not only do I rely on his well-being, but I know his siblings and friends (human and dog alike) do too.
This surgery he needs is called a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) and is going to cost us anywhere from $3000 to $6000 and the recovery period is going to be about 6 months.
We are currently still trying to find the right vet to do the surgery.
My whole life revolves around the care of animals. I love helping people and pets the ways I can, but this time I need a bit of the help. Please consider donating, any amount is helpful and very much appreciated.
