Aid Bryan Wain with Medical and Travel Costs

**Help Bryan Wain Get to Nashville to Receive His Citizen Commendation Award and With Mounting Medical Bills**

I am creating this fundraiser for our dear friend Bryan Wain, a talented musician, who gave so much to the Broadway music scene for many years. If you've ever met Bryan- you know how full of heart he is.

 But.. last year, Bryan's life changed forever.

While grabbing food at a local McDonalds, after a late rehearsal- Bryan was shot in the face during an attempted car jacking. 

Even while seriously wounded and bleeding, he managed to intervene when the attacker attempted to rob a woman in the same drive through. His heroic actions potentially helped save another's life.

Now, nearly a year later- Bryan is being honored with the Citizen Commendation Award by Nashville Police Chief John Drake.

But here is the heartbreaking part: Bryan can't afford to go.

Since the shooting, he has had multiple surgeries and can no longer perform to make a living, causing him to pack up his life and move back to Florida.

 His recovery has been long and difficult and while he trying his best to make a living- he is missing work for continued care and his medical expenses continue to rack up.

To make matters worse- his beloved cat has become seriously ill and he has depleted his funds on emergency vet care.

This has left him in a position where this award ceremony, something that is SO deserved, is just out of reach.

We are asking for help to get Bryan back to Nashville so he can stand proudly and receive the recognition he deserves. We are also hoping to help Bryan with his mounting medical bills, as his surgeries are far from over.

The funds will go toward:

*Travel to and from Nashville

*Lodging and meals

*Basic living expenses while he heals

*Medical and vet bills

Bryan is a true hero with a kind soul, who has touched many of our lives in different ways.

It's time to come together to give back to him and show this hero that his good deeds have not been forgotten and that his community (near and far) will rally to take care of him in return!
