Sept 12 2025 update,

Well its be almost 10 months since I've had my stroke, things are still progressing, disability approved me and as of now I will receive SSDI starting in December 2025, which is still a few months away. I want to thank everyone who has donated to help me on my road to recovery, still have a way to go to hopefully full recovery. I have experienced some set backs, but for the most I have been trying to move forward. I also want to thank everyone who has sent me get well wishes and kind words of encouragement. It means the world to me.

Update, I want to thank everyone who has donated to help me on my journey to recover from this stroke I had. It's been almost 6 months since I've had the stroke, im still on a long road to recovery, disability still hasn't made a decision yet if I will receive money or not, Dr's have said it would be a minimum of a year if I could work, we shall see. Things have been getting hard, I have been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea, I have been diagnosed with arthritis in me left knee which was the leg affected by the stroke, I completed 12 weeks of physical and occupational therapy that insurance allowed for, I've just been taking everyday as a new day to still be here. Just wanted to update all going on and say thank you again to those who have donated to help me out.

Hi, ny name is bruce. I had a stroke November 24 and was in the hospital until December 13th, since getting out of the hospital I am doing physical therapy and occupational therapy 3 days a week, I also have attended numerous doctor appointments. My neurologist as well as my primary care physician have said I am unable to work for atleast a year, I have applied for social security disability they have told me it will be anywhere from 4 to 6 months for a decision to be made. I have been lucky enough to have friends and family donate money to help me, when i first got out of the hospital, that money was used to catch up on bills, now I am asking anybody for a little help so I can cover bills until hopefully disability will finally come through. I appreciate anybody and everybody for any help as this is extremely hard for me to ask since I am a very prideful man and do not want to be a burden on anyone. Thank you again
