In the wake of the Eaton Fire, many of you have reached out asking what you can do to help Bruce and Mildred, and we are so grateful to everyone who has. At this time the best thing is direct financial contributions.

Bruce and Mildred Johnson have been displaced by the Eaton Fire in Altadena, CA. We don't know the current status of their home due to area closures but have confirmed their detached workshop and much of their property was burned. They will be displaced for an extended period of time while Altadena restores basic utilities and begins cleanup. Even then, rebuilding their community will be measured in years, not months.

It is not immediately clear what financial burdens will be presented in a disaster like this or whether insurance will adequately cover the costs of displacement and property. All donations to this GoFundMe will go directly to Bruce and Mildred and will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid.
