Help Support Brittany Kroll and Her Family During a Medical Emergency
Our dear friend and co-worker, Brittany Kroll, was supposed to be enjoying a much-needed vacation this week. Tragically, just hours into her trip, she was struck by a bus while riding a motorized scooter.
She suffered severe head trauma, including a skull fracture in multiple places, bleeding and bruising on the brain. Brittany was first rushed by ambulance to a local hospital and later transported to Miami for specialized neurological care - doctors are still working to understand the full extent of her injuries and what long-term recovery may look like but she is on the incline.
Brittany is a single mother of three children, and their sole provider. Even when she is medically stable, the road ahead will be long and uncertain. Her work involves using a computer all day, but doctors have already stated that screen time must be avoided while her brain heals. This means she will not be able to return to work any time soon, leaving her without income during this critical time.
The friend who traveled with Brittany has remained at her side, putting their own life and work on hold. Other family members may also need to travel to Florida in the coming days to help make decisions and provide support as well as finding a way to get her home to PA for follow up and continuing care.
We are asking for your help to ease the heavy financial burden Brittany and her family now face. The expenses are already overwhelming and include:
• Out of network emergency medical care and hospitalization
• Transportation/lodging/other expenses for family/friend who will be in FL by Brittanys side
• Rehabilitation and recovery expenses - including transport home
• Lost wages and childcare for her three children
Every donation—no matter how small—makes a difference. Your support will help ensure Brittany can focus on healing without the added weight of financial strain.
If you’re unable to donate at this time, please consider sharing this campaign with your friends, family, or social networks.
Let’s come together and show Brittany that she’s not alone—her community stands with her.
Thank you so much for your love, kindness, and support.
