Aid Brigham's Family During His Recovery

Donation protected
On Friday (10/25) afternoon, Brigham was on a trail ride in Moab, Utah with a group of friends when his dirt bike stalled unexpectedly at the base of a hill crossing over a steep cliff and his bike tipped and pushed him down the hill, off the ledge where he fell 60 feet with his dirt bike crushing him.

Paramedics were called and he was life flighted to Grand Junction, Colorado after nearly losing him, he arrived at the hospital to receive treatment for severe internal bleeding and trauma to his pelvis and humerus.

Brigham is scheduled to undergo first of many surgeries to reconstruct his pelvis and arm on Monday 10/28.

He is going to require multiple surgeries and therapy on his road to recovery.

Brigham is the provider for his beautiful wife, Lauren and their two young kids.

We are seeking support for his family as this journey is going to be financially, physically, and emotionally challenging.

To know Brigham is to love him. He truly is one of a kind. A husband, father, son, brother and friend.

We are asking for your prayers and financial support to help this loving family get through their most difficult challenge yet.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support!

UPDATE 10/29
Brigham had surgery to fix his pelvis. They were able to get the full scope of his injuries and fix what they could. Later that evening, they discovered a blood clot in his lung that the doctors are working on resolving. Which postponed his second surgery to reconstruct his sacrum with a neurosurgeon to early next week.
There is still lots of unknown on this path forward, we still ask for prayers for Brigham to have minimal nerve damage and gain mobility to his lower extremities.

UPDATE 11/13
Over the last couple weeks, there have been ups and down in Brigham’s road to recovery. Soon after his first surgery, the doctors discovered a blood cot in Brigham’s lung. They have it under control and are trying to resolve it.

Last weekend, the doctors discovered an abscess, infected and requiring emergent bowel resection. Thus delaying his next surgery to repair his pelvis.

BIGGEST UPDATE YET 12/20/24
Brigham was able to have his next pelvis reconstruction surgery on 12/06/24The surgery went well and he has been working on pain management and physical therapy since.

This week he was finally cleared to get flown back home to Arizona from Grand Junction for continued physical therapy and to be with his family and friend for Christmas.

However the acute care facility he is being transferred to says he needs to be able to tolerate 3 hours of PT to be admitted there. Right now that number is about 20 minutes.
We are asking for all the prayers and continued support that Brigham can work up the strength to be home with his kids for Christmas.

Update 12/24/24
It’s a Christmas miracle! Brigham is flying home to Gilbert, AZ to start rehab!
