- My name is Brian, and I'm reaching out because my family is in need of support during a challenging time. I was diagnosed last year with a rare and severe cardiopulmonary disease, [Pulmonry arterial hypertension ], that has significantly impacted my life. The hardest part is knowing there's no cure. I worry about my kids' future and what will happen to them. The constant medical appointments, several times a month between Healdsburg and UCSF, mean I can't work, and it's been a struggle to provide for my family. I'm on home oxygen and a multitude of medications, and the financial strain has become overwhelming.
We're closeto eviction in if we can't raise the funds to pay the back rent of $4,000. My immediate goal is to raise $9000 to cover the next three months of rent and utilities. Longer term, I'm hoping to raise $5000 to purchase a reliable used car so I can get to my appointments. This would be a life-changer, allowing me to maintain my health and independence.
My biggest wish is to spend my remaining time focused on creating precious memories with my children, not worrying about how to keep the lights on.
