Help the Bravo and Davidson Family Recover from Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica

Hi everyone,

My name is Jemel Bravo, I reside in Floridaand I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my Uncle Derick Bravo and other family members in Jamaica who have been devastated by Hurricane Melissa. The storm has caused severe flooding, property damage, and loss of essential supplies across their community.

Our family—including Uncle Derick Bravo, Yashin Bravo, Newton Davidson, Marlon Reid, Sherice Bravo, and so many other relatives that have been struggling since the hurricane passed. I’m getting calls from some relatives and a lot we lost communications with. I know a few family members roofs have been damaged, food is running short, and access to clean water and electricity has been cut off in many areas.

I’m raising funds to help provide food, clean water, clothing, and basic supplies for my loved ones and others nearby who are in need. I’m hoping to raise funds to go down there directly and search and help out hand to hand all over Jamaica, family, and non-family members.Every contribution will go directly toward purchasing and delivering:

Non-perishable food and clean drinking water

Hygiene and first aid supplies

Tarps, flashlights, and batteries

Clothing, bedding, and other essentials

Any amount—no matter how small—will make a difference in helping them recover and rebuild. Even if you can’t donate, please share this campaign with others who might be able to help.

My family has always been proud, hardworking, and full of love for their community. Now, in this time of crisis, I’m hoping we can come together to lift them back up and remind them they’re not alone.
