Aid Bogdan's Journey to Recovery

On April 2nd, after dinner, Bogdan went outside to prepare everything for the next day’s work. Five minutes later, he came back into the kitchen, said he wasn’t feeling well, and lost consciousness.

The ambulance arrived within six minutes and transported him to the hospital. Doctors had to restart his heart four times using a defibrillator, and thankfully they were able to stabilize his condition. Later, it was confirmed that he had suffered a heart attack.

While doctors were working to save his life, Bogdan aspirated vomit, which entered his lungs and caused an infection. After multiple examinations, doctors discovered that one of his heart valves isn’t functioning and has a clot attached to it. They also found two more blood clots—one in an artery and another in a chamber of the heart.

Bogdan has since been transferred from Tri-Cities to Spokane, where he continues to receive treatment and remains under medical supervision. Even after he returns home, he won’t be able to resume work right away—he’ll need time to recover and avoid heavy physical activity.

Bogdan is the breadwinner, husband to Olena, father to Julianna and Leon.

We pray and hope, knowing that our God is a miracle worker. With that being said, we know that medical interventions and rehabilitation comes with a price. If you feel led/compelled to give, they would greatly benefit from every single dollar.

Другого квітня, після вечері, Богдан вийшов на двір, щоб підготувати все для роботи на наступний день. Через 5 хвилин він повернувся на кухню, сказав, що почувається погано, і втратив свідомість.

Швидка прибула через 6 хвилин та доставила його до лікарні. Лікарі чотири рази запускали серце електрошокером, і зрештою їм вдалося стабілізувати його стан. Пізніше було підтверджено, що це був серцевий напад.

Під час реанімації Богдан захлинувся блювотними масами, які потрапили в легені та спричинили інфекцію. Після численних обстежень лікарі виявили, що один із клапанів серця не функціонує та має тромб, а також ще два згустки крові — один в артерії, інший у серцевій камері.

Наразі Богдана перевели з Трай-Сіті до Спокена, де він продовжує проходити лікування та перебуває під постійним наглядом лікарів. Навіть після повернення додому йому знадобиться час на відновлення і уникнення будь-яких важких фізичних навантажень перед тим, як він зможе повернутися до роботи.
