Hi everyone!

We just have to say it. We need help.

Our dad has worked so hard his entire life. He has earned his way. It is very difficult for us to ask for help. His work ethic has taught my siblings and I so much, he has been an inspiration to all of us. WE ARE SO DAMN PROUD OF HIM. We could not have asked for a better protector, provider or guide in life. He’s not just our dad, he is a husband, tata to 13+ grandkids, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many. We are proud, but we are struggling and just need some assistance. The credit card and medical bills are piling up and are only going to get worse.

As some of you may know our dad, Bobby, has been battling cancer for a few years now.

He was diagnosed with leukemia back in June of 2019. That journey has been up and down but as of now, he will be taking a chemo pill for the foreseeable future.

In December of 2023 he was diagnosed with colon cancer.

In February of 2024 he had to have surgery to remove the affected area and was then given the “all clear” from his oncologist.

In July 2024 we were given the news that cancer started to grow again, but this time in his liver.

In October of 2024 he had to have a liver ablation procedure done to remove the affected area. Shortly after that he was put on a secondary chemo pill and has been on it since then.

About 3 weeks ago we were finally given the good news that there is no active cancer in his liver or colon!

However, at his latest appointment this past week our lives were turned upside down again. We were told that he is still currently "cancer free", aside from the leukemia, but the damage to his body is beyond repair. His oncologist has told him that he will very likely come out of remission. This now means that he is going to have monthly labs and scans done to try to catch anything that might appear. He is going to have to stay on his secondary chemo pill for the foreseeable future. This takes a major toll on his body that we can’t even begin to describe.

He has been battling gallbladder infections since Christmas Day 2024 causing multiple hospital stays. He has had countless procedures done.

Most of you will also know that our dad has lost just about all of his eyesight and is legally blind. This has left him out of work and on disability. Unfortunately, he does not qualify for any government assistance and has had all Medicaid benefits taken away. He has a commercial insurance plan but those still come with a high deductible, co-pays and co-insurance payments. Of course, these aren't the only bills, but any relief is highly acknowledged and treasured!
