Hello! I'm one of Bill's coworkers, and I wanted to start this page for him. He has had a tough 2025. He was diagnosed in April with cirrhosis of the liver the fatty liver kind, not the alcohol type.He has been hospitalized many times since January. He also has been getting almost weekly paracentesis done to drain fluid from his abdomen. It's been taking its toll on him physically and financially. Tomorrow he goes for another procedure at the UM with his liver surgeon and medical team.

Bill has been with North Memorial Ambulance as an EMT and Emergency Medical Dispatcher for almost 37 years. He and his team at North Memorial are responsible for saving countless lives. He takes pride in what he does. Bill is the one always to try to make light of a stressful situation in dispatch. He's the first one to make sure that his partners and crews are okay after a stressful run. He really does have a heart of gold, but at this time, he needs help.
