Dear Friends and Family,

I hope you’re all doing well. This post is an update for you all as well as an ask for help. Our Dad, Bill (William) Livezey, had open heart surgery today. After experiencing symptoms, Dad had an appointment with his doctor and was advised to have a stress test. A couple of hours after the stress test, he was sent to the ER and was then admitted for a cardiac catheterization. Dad had too many blockages to stent and therefore was told he would require surgery. He ended up having a triple bypass and a new valve placed. He will have a lengthy recovery but the surgery was a success.

Dad will be out of work for at least 2 months, but likely longer. We’re writing to ask for support to help Dad with his monthly bills and the medical expenses associated with this surgery. If you know my Dad at all, you’ll know that he will hate this whole thing…but we don’t want him to have any other worries during his time of recovery. If you’re unable to make a financial contribution, we appreciate any positive thoughts or prayers or just a share of this post.
