Hi all, it's Tamara on behalf of my Yorkie, Betty. Anyone who is able to donate, please aid us with her animal emergency medical bill. Last night, my Maine Coon cat mauled Betty. He left her with puncture wounds, slashes, tears, and rips in her skin. Both front legs and both sides were gouged so severely, the subcutaneous layer of flesh was protruding through. I rushed her to the nearest 24hr animal hospital in San Ramon at 1am. They put her under anesthesia to flush, clean, and suture her wounds. Her neck has puncture wounds that prevent her from wearing a cone. After 8 hours, she was discharged with 6 medications and treatment instructions for home. She will need aftercare appointments, follow-ups, and more meds. She has a long road to recovery. The bill is $1400, including Mark's veteran discount and any lower costs they could provide.

I just became caught up on my bills and rent. This financial burden right before Xmas will set me back months. And if not paid, her aftercare will be put on hold until payment is made.

Any amount is appreciated and will greatly assist in paying down the bill.

Betty is my world now since Mark passed. The cat was rehomed and renamed today. Already. I miss her so much.
