My friend Becky Heckman lost her best friend, her fiancé Peter Lopez. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer several months prior to his passing. There was not a lot of time for any kind of saving or planning. She has had to take quite a bit of time off work already to care for Peter. Becky and her kids have had it fairly rough the past few years. In the past two years, she has lost her mom and her brother, and now her fiancé. She needs time to grieve and be with her family during these difficult times, but is financially unable to do so. Peter has left behind his amazing children. He will be dearly missed as a partner and father among the many other titles he's held in his too short of a life. It’s never easy to ask for help, especially while grieving such a loss.
