HELP AYLAH HEAL: SUPPORT A SINGLE MOM'S JOURNEY THROUGH CRISIS

Hi, my name is Laina and I'm a single mom doing my best to care for my two amazing teenagers. Life has thrown us many challenges, but we've always managed to push through until now.

Recently, my 12-year-old daughter, Aylah, suffered a life-threatening medical emergency She was airlifted to a children's hospital hundreds of miles from home and has undergone a liver transplant. While the surgery was a miracle, Aylah is still in critical condition, on dialysis, and facing a long recovery.

My teenage son and I are by her side, trying to navigate this new reality, one filled with uncertainty, fear, and financial strain. Being far from home, I'm juggling transportation, meals, and lots of other emotional situations. On top of all that, I'm terrified about how I will keep up with my bills and responsibilities at home to make sure we have a home to return to when Aylah is strong enough to come home.

As someone who always tries to stand on her own, it is difficult for me to ask for help, but right now I have no choice. Any support, no matter how small, helps and would mean the world to me.
