Aid Aya Khaled: A Mother's Plea for Help
Donation protected
I am Hassan Rasheed, and I am asking for donations on behalf of Aya Kaled who is a Palestinian living in the Gaza Strip. The following is a letter she wrote to me regarding her situation (translated from Arabic).
-------
My dear friend Hassan, I am reassured about you
The current circumstances in the Gaza Strip, Deir al-Bah area, are harsh and difficult due to hunger and the imposed blockade. The situation is harsh and catastrophic. There is no food or treatment. The crisis is difficult and harsh. There is a shortage of treatment. I am suffering. Please help me, even a little. Do not leave me and my children. I need you. Please help me, please help me. I am optimistic about you.
My dear friend Hassan, I am embarrassed by you and I have great hope in you. Please pray for you from the blessed land. Every time I pray for you, I am optimistic about you. My dear friend, please, do not leave my children. They are dying of hunger. I left the hospital today and I am poor and I need your support one last time. I need you. Please do not forget my children. They are dying of hunger, cold and the harshness of life. My heart is breaking because of the displacement and the merciless Israeli occupation. I find no one to help me. I am devastated because of the imposed blockade. I am still waiting for any help. Create a campaign through you, please. This campaign I started didn't work, but I need one through you, please. Save my family. We need to survive.
We live without a source of livelihood. Your generosity is the only thing that can save us from hunger, genocide, and the spread of epidemics due to the lack of clean drinking water. Many times, we have escaped death and emerged from under the rubble. The occupation has left us nothing in this ongoing war and genocide.
We live in it. We have no home or place where we feel safe. My Life Project exhibition has been destroyed. All we have left is your support. All we have left is destruction. I would never have thought of asking for your help if it weren't for the circumstances and psychological suffering we have been living for more than eight months, so I ask you to donate what you can.
And share our story and our voice so that our suffering has meaning.
I hope that everyone who reads my story will support me, even with a kind word. My dear friend, scan the campaign and create a campaign through any other site. I will send you pictures of the family, my brother, my children, and everything related to the campaign. You will be rewarded with great recompense. Many thanks and appreciation, my dear friend Hassan

If you can, please donate, even if it is a word or two of encouragement. I will collect the funds and send them to Aya Khaled to help her and her family find food and shelter and survive the terrible situation they find themselves in. She is the mother of four children who lost her husband in an agricultural accident before the war. She also has a brother she supports at this time. I have known Aya for five years.
