Aid Aurora's Fight for Health

Hello family, friends, and community, as you may know, our little family has suffered a tragic trauma that has affected our lives greatly.
Two weeks ago, our tiny, 6-week-old, 7 lbs baby girl had 40 cm of her small intestines removed. Due to her belly button not disconnecting from her organs properly at birth, it caused a closed loop obstruction that went septic. Aurora almost died but thank GOD, she will only have an ileostomy bag for the time being. We’re also on a nutrition mission, fighting against her own little body, to keep our baby girl growing.
This tragedy hit us at the worst possible time—with myself only being back at work for one week, along with Logan working every possible minute he can to keep our lights on. Logan and I are doing our very best to stay positive, but with everything weighing on us, it’s getting heavy.
Aurora’s journey all comes with MANY doctors' appointments, emergency medical bills, and continual medical supply bills. At this time, I am not planning on returning to work until after her repair surgery, which is projected 6 months to 1 year out.
We’ve had many people ask us what they could do to help, and genuinely, I didn’t know how to answer because we are young and still learning how to handle emergencies as adults. I wanted to create this page for the people who feel like they have it on their hearts to help ease us through this situation. Thank you in advance for your time, caring thoughts, and donations. God bless you all.
