Aid Auriel Branson: Recover from Fire Loss

Donation protected
Hello. My name is Tyson Carter. I am here on behalf of Auriel Branson, who tragically lost not only her childhood home and all belongings, but most of her town of Altadena in the Eaton fire, and is in need of our support. Her home was a legacy, inherited from her grandparents—her grandfather, one of the few Black engineers during his time in the Air Force who later served in the Altadena Sheriff’s Department & was a musician, and her grandmother, a respected artist & teacher. She often even opened up her home to friends in need.

She was severely underinsured. State Farm dropped her policy, and finding new coverage was nearly impossible. She’s in a tough spot, but doing everything she can to preserve her and her grandparents’ legacy and not have to sell the land.

We are raising money to help get supplies, clothing, shelter, and other future essentials in the wake of this devastating loss. Anything helps as community is everything during these trying times. Nonprofits & events are somewhat capitalizing off this fire disaster that hit LA, raising hundred of thousands and millions of dollars for fire relief, but little of it seems to be reaching those who actually lost their homes. It seems it’s up to the community to help themselves.

Even if you can’t donate, please share and spread her gofund me.  I know it’s a big ask, but every share increases her chances of finding support

Thank you so much for your time and consideration—We truly appreciate any support you can offer.
