Athena Jewelle is one of the kindest and most hardworking members of the New Orleans LGBTQ+ community. She is always willing to contribute her time and effort to raise funds for anyone in need, or any charitable organization, without asking anything in return. This is our time to help her during her time of need. Athena has recently experienced several significant health setbacks, hospitalizations, and surgeries due to her chronic struggles with diabetes. Recently, she has had to endure a partial amputation of her right foot, causing her to be unable to work/stand on her feet for long periods of time, greatly hindering her ability to both perform as a female impersonator and work her job in food service. Due to her medical bills, health struggles, and inability to work, she is very behind on her bills and rent. She is applying for disability and Section 8 housing assistance, but in the meantime, she very much needs our help and support. While she is a very proud person, she would never ask for this, but it is greatly needed. Please let's help Athena during her time of need as she has always supported our community.
