14 year old Ashlynn Millar has always been a sweet and active child. She loves dancing, her school, and being with her friends.

Ashlynn has also been battling Crohn’s disease for several years with faith and determination.

But since mid-June, sweet Ashlynn has been suffering from a life-threatening flare of Crohn’s disease.

This summer the flare became progressively worse and she had to be hospitalized multiple times. Currently, she has been in the hospital for the past two weeks, in and out of ICU, the doctors trying desperately to find solutions to her healing. It was finally determined that surgery would be needed.

God’s hand has been on her life every step of the way, and now we can be the hands and feet of Jesus to this beautiful Christian family.

The Millar’s will need lots of financial support over the next several months as Ashlynn and her family begin the healing process. Her parents, Casey and Wendy, have missed a significant amount of work to help care for their daughter. There is also a need to help the family with ongoing medical and health expenses as Ashlynn heals.

Ashlynn’s favorite Bible verse is so appropriate for God’s promise over her life: Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you not to harm you, to give you a hope in the future.”

We truly believe there are no small acts of kindness. We are thankful for such a profound and loving family and friends who have rallied around Ashlynn, Wendy, Casey, and her little brother Coleton.
