Aid Ashley's Recovery and Baby Noelle's Future
Donation protected
I NEED YOUR HELP; Monday my daughter Ashley (who is 8 months pregnant) was injured during the straight-line wind storm that came through Goldsboro. She was knocked to the ground on her belly so hard it even broke her phone. She couldn't stand up and had to be transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital by ambulance. She was in excruciating pain, but they said baby Noelle seems to be fine; however, Ashley sustained two fractures to her right leg. One fracture is on her right ankle, which is manageable and doesn't require surgery. The other fracture, which is most concerning, is the fracture on the top of her tibia behind her kneecap, which does require surgery. Ashley will be out of work for quite some time. As any of you know, Ashley's a hardworking woman who would give you the shirt off her back and loves everyone. She's very private and independent and hates to ask anyone for help (but is the first to help anyway she can if she sees a need). She's going to probably be upset with me for even posting this, because she'd never ask for help for herself; I'm asking for help for her. We've created a GoFundMe page to try and help ease her mind and take some of the stress off of her being out of work. She's going to need a handicap ramp, which insurance won't cover. She was preparing for baby Noelle to be here, but not all of this. Any and all donations are appreciated.I will share the link in short.
