Helping Ashley Through a High-Risk Pregnancy

I’m putting this together for my friend Ashley. She’s been dealt a really rough hand, and right now she’s just trying to make it through and keep her baby safe.

This wasn’t a planned pregnancy, and she’s doing it completely on her own after the baby’s dad decided not to be involved. On top of that, she’s been dealing with HG (a severe pregnancy complication that makes it nearly impossible to keep food or water down) and recently had to have emergency surgery to try to stop preterm labor.

Because of that surgery and being high-risk, her doctor has her on strict medical restrictions. Her job told her if those restrictions stay, she can’t come back—which means she’s stuck on unpaid medical leave with no income, no family, and no real support system. She’s at serious risk of losing everything before the baby is even here.
