Aid Arturo's fight with ALS #ArturoALS

It is with a heavy heart and incredible pain that we must begin saying our goodbyes to our beloved Arturo. Arturo’s rapid health deterioration this year was a mystery to all of us until a recent diagnosis of ALS, commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig's disease, completely shattered and broke our hearts.

Arturo has lost the ability to speak, walk and swallow and is completely dependent on others for his care. His doctors have concluded that there is nothing more that can medically be done for him at this point.

Arturo is home now, in the care of hospice and surrounded by his loved ones.

As a family, we are now forced to watch our vibrant, playful, faithful and loving Arturo slowly fade away.

Arturo is loved and treasured by his amazing wife, Carol, of 49 years!

We do not know what the future has in store for Arturo or our family.

All we want now is to make sure Arturo is as comfortable, pain-free and worry-free as possible.
