Help Ariella Jane's Family During Cancer Treatment

On December 17th, 2024 at the age of 21 months old, Ariella Jane was diagnosed with Wilm's Tumor, also known as nephroblastoma - a cancer of the kidneys. The tumor found was 9cm in size and was on her liver, impacting two major organs. On December 19th, Ariella went in for surgery for approximately 7 hours, where they removed one of her kidneys and removed the tumor on her liver. During the surgery, they were able to remove the entire mass, as well as her kidney. She was released from the hospital, and informed that the cancer was stage 1. Further testing found that Ariella has a “new kind of chromosome" that they’re still doing studies on. This chromosome indicates that she could relapse and therefore she will start chemotherapy on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025. She will have 22 weeks of chemotherapy, receiving it 1x per week.

Due to this, Ariella's immune system will be incredibly weakened for the next 5 and a half months. Ariella's parents will have to cut back on work hours and due to working circumstances, they will not receive financial assistance. This GoFundMe will go to supporting their family financially as they navigate the next half-year of not being able to work full-time, bringing baby Ariella to weekly chemo visits, and enduring one of the hardest things they'll ever have to go through as a family.
