I am raising funds for an extraordinary person and one of my closest friends, Arianna Parker. In late August, she received the devastating news that no one wants to hear: she was diagnosed with breast cancer, IDC Triple Positive. The past few months have been a challenging journey, culminating in surgery to remove tissue from her lung in the second week of October.

Even as she begins the daunting task of chemotherapy (six rounds) surgery, and radiation, Ari continues to show her incredible resilience, trademark humor, and infectious laughter we all cherish. She also continues her unwavering support (and this season, frustration) and self-scouting of her beloved San Francisco 49ers.

As many of us can imagine, even with health insurance, medical bills, fertility preservation, and travel costs to Seattle can quickly escalate during such challenging times for Arianna and her husband, Andrew.
