My name is Jolene Downs and my daughter, Anna, and her boyfriend were involved in a car accident the day before yesterday. The guy driving is not insured. We have an attorney, and she was covered under underinsured. The police report can take up to two weeks. With this being an accident where her insurance has to pay because the person at fault cannot pay, it will take a while. With their injuries, although mild - praise God! - they have bills that have to be paid and live paycheck to paycheck. We are not looking for a huge amount because they are not selfish.
