Dear All,

As many of you are aware, my family has recently experienced an unimaginable challenge. My brother-in-law Ankit, unexpectedly experienced a very rare complication at 35 years old, stemming from a simple sinus infection that ultimately led to meningitis and a stroke in less than 36 hours.

Whether you have had the pleasure of knowing Ankit for years or just met him, I’m sure you can agree he is nothing less than outgoing, kind, and bubbly to everyone he meets. He never thinks twice to help someone around him, especially family. Even in his current situation he has managed to uplift our family in various meaningful ways. He has been hospitalized since June 23rd and after undergoing an emergency craniotomy, remains under a close watch with a long road to recovery ahead.

Our family’s focus is to continue to get Ankit the best level of care, therapy, and tools he needs, so he can once again be home with his wife/my sister Sonya and his daughter/my niece Elina. Through this recovery, our family has had their hands full with all his current and future medical needs. Since so many of you have inquired and offered support to Ankit, Sonya, and Elina during this time, we have set up this fundraiser to help with medical expenses not covered by insurance.
