Aid Andrew's Fight Against Heart Condition

Hello, Andrew Libriani here. This is tough and a bit embarrassing to do, I'm not the one to ask anyone for money, and I'm more often than not the friend who can help some one out in need. Well now I'm the one in need :(

Friday October 3rd I was at work we were pretty busy as usual for Friday. I felt a little uneasy, dizzy, sea legs (wobbly), and could hear my heart beating in my ears. You could visibly see my shirt moving per each heart beat. I had to take a break. I went outside and nearly fainted and then regurgitated shortly after that. My co-worker was just arriving to work and he brought out a camping chair for me to sit in. He went inside and notified my Fiancé (She works with me as well). She drove me to Berkley Urgent Care and they brought me back and set up an IV because I was dehydrated. The doctor came back into the room with my receipt and told me I had an extremely high heart rate and heart palpitations. "here is your receipt, we refunded your payment. You need to go to the emergency room right now or we will call you an ambulance."

Corrie took me to Corewell Health Beaumont Emergency room around 1pm. I was given 3 CT scans and an Mri. They suspected I was going to undergo surgery so I could not eat or drink for at least 12 hours. Around 5am i began to have TdP (Torsade's de Pointes) its a rare heart condition that makes the ECG look like its twisting. its French for "Twisting the Points" it is an irregular heart beat that has long QT time. Long QT times can cause sudden death syndrome. This is the reason why i have to wear an external defibrillator. I suffered a seizer and flatlined for 27 seconds before being resuscitated by hospital personnel. They rushed me to a separate emergency room operating room and i was given 6 different ivs as well as two shots. I only had 1 Iv in my arm so they had to add 5 more in short succession. Very scary time.

I spent 3 days in the Icu before being moved to the progressive unit of the hospital for another 9 days and then 3 days in General. during that time i had many more mri's, CT scans, Echo Cardiograms, Echo Ultrasounds, Contracted Pneumonia, and was unable to stand up, go to the bathroom, shower, or even feed myself.

I am not the person who usually asks for anything but I cannot afford nearly $170,000 (after outpatient visits and more tests) in hospital bills. I am currently unemployed because i had to quit my job which i was at for over 3 years and loved, but due to my medical condition i cannot work at the moment. I have applied for Medicaid and Financial assistance and can assure you if i am accepted for those i will send back your donation in full. It takes 45-90 days to get a response from either program, and bills are already piling up. I have paid the minimum due for each one so far, but its tough to get ahead without a job and past/normal bills like utilities, car insurance, groceries etc.
