Hi, I'm Andrew. I am a single father and a disabled Purple Heart veteran. My son, my dogs, and myself only have this one vehicle. The vehicle had just had the transmission rebuilt about two and a half months ago. Well, about a month ago, the motor in the truck started acting up, and there’s this loud ticking coming internally from the right side of the motor. The ticking is caused by the lifters going out. As with anything in a motor, the lifters are crucial to keeping the motor going.
I feel terrible having to ask, but I no longer have a choice. I have exhausted all my resources and all of my funds. The last year I’ve been in and out of the hospital seven times, my oldest dog has started getting random seizures. The last one was as recent as September 30. My house foundation is coming apart, causing damage all over my house and even causing the roof to be replaced a second time. I had just replaced the roof barely 3 years ago. I’m still currently paying a balance for the transmission, and all this is being capped off by paying for repairs when a drunk driver crashed through my garage and my house. The driver left the scene and drove off. Even though caught on camera, he was never charged with anything because the police said the plate did not exist.
For anyone who reads my story, I appreciate it. Thank you to those who help and share.
