Dear friends and family,

It is with unimaginable sorrow that I share the passing of my brother, Andrew Joshua Barnhill, at the age of 37.

He face lifelong battle with past trauma, metal health that weighed heavily on him. Despite the love and support from so many, his burden became to heavy to bear.

Andrew was always my hero, and my heart is broken that I could not save him. He was a veteran who bravely served his country, yet returning home he faced the invisible wounds of service-PTSD, anxiety and unimaginable depression.

We want to honor his life by laying him to rest beside his nephew, our son Charles-with a service worthy of the man he was-and to bring peace to those who loved him most.

We are asking for support to help with funeral expenses — including preparation, plot, casket, venue — and to provide financial relief for his wife and their three young children during this devastating time.

Andrew was a devoted husband to Raina and a loving father to his children: Mila (10), Hadley (2), and baby Andrew (2 months).
