Aid Andrew and Kelvin Through Medical Hardships

As many may know, I am not someone that asks for help and I am always the one trying to help others when they are in need. I have debated for a while on asking for help but I am at the point now that I need some additional assistance. So… 2023, I found out that I had rectal carcinoma and have had two surgeries, one in March of 2024 and the other in October 2024 to cauterize the cancer in my rectum. I am still healing and will find out in late February or sometime in March if they were in fact able to get all of the cancer or if I will need further surgery. I am praying that I will enter remission. So while going through all of this, I had an Endoscopy in late October 2024 and found out that I have esophageal contractions 60% of the time when I swallow causing me to double swallow to push my food into my stomach. This is a very rare diagnosis that only 1 in 100,000 people have. Also, a sliding hiatal hernia was found in my lower esophagus. I will undergo surgery to correct the contractions to get rid of them or to minimize contractions and they will also do laparoscopic surgical repair of para-esophageal hernia, fundoplasty w/ mesh that will put me down for about 6 weeks where I will not be able to work and my husband will also have to take care of me and not be able to work his full hours and his second job either which will put a huge damper on our finances. Due to my health from 2023 to current, I have had 9 different procedures and 6 surgeries which has caused a lot of financial hardship from driving to all of my appointments, taking alot of time off work at both jobs and it has affected my husbands work as well to be there to support me. I thought long and hard about posting a go fund me account to get additional support from friends and family during these hard times. My surgery is scheduled for 8 January and will take about 5-6 hours in Tucson, AZ. After surgery, I will have several doctor appointments to check my status. This is a 1.5-hour drive each way, 3 days a week for 6 weeks. I have determined that it will be in my best interest to get a hotel and stay the days I need to in Tucson so I am not driving every day/other day to limit driving back and forth 3 days a week for 6 weeks. During this time, I also have to be on a special liquid only diet. Depending on my recovery, my husband may have to take time off work to take care of me as well which will cause even more financial hardship. This will take a toll on us. I am still going to try to work remotely as much as I can during recovery. This was very hard to post and ask for help, but we are in need of any help anyone can offer. It’s been a very stressful year for me with my health. We will also be trying to save what we can as my husband will have a major nasal surgery in June 2025 where he will have a major surgery on the hole in the bridge of his nose that is causing severe issues with his breathing. His surgery will be in San Antonio, TX. Even though we have amazing insurance, we still have lots of bills coming in that the second jobs really helped cover expenses and that income will seize for at least 6 weeks following surgery. Anyone who’s had a catastrophic event happen to them will understand the medical and living costs. Any help is appreciated. First and foremost, prayers are most appreciated, but if you could spare any amount to help us out, we would appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts! The prayers and well wishes have been overwhelming, and we can’t thank you enough for all the love you’ve shown us!!! We are so blessed to have family and friends who love us so much!!!!
