Aid Andreas Vandever's Fight Against Cancer

My name is Andreas Vandever, I have been diagnosed with Cancer in several parts of my body. I have not been able to work full time anymore due to the Chemotherapy side effects that I have for days after each session. My sessions start on a Wednesday and end on Friday. Amie my Wife and I have been fighting this since April 10th 2024. Due to the extreme cost of the treatments and the amount that insurance doesn't cover it has put us in a position that has pretty well wiped out our savings. I have been referred to MD Anderson in Houston, Texas for more testing and aggressive treatments. Each and every trip incurs expenses that are not covered by insurance. Therefore, we must ask for help. Each session of Chemotherapy costs $20,319.00 with insurance covering 80% the rest is up to us. We have no Idea what the costs are going to be at MD Anderson, However we know that each of our visits will be several thousand dollars out of pocket , for transportation as well as food, lodging. We will be required to be in Houston for about 10 days each time we have to go down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: I have had further discussions with my Oncologist after more scans had been done. He is currently working on getting a faster appointment with MD Anderson or the Mayo Cancer Center who ever can see me first. He has ordered more Procedures for my treatment and is hoping that either MD Anderson or the Mayo cancer center can get me in before May of next year. I could be told that I have to be at one or the other within a week or two. Thank you again for your help.
