Aid an International Student in Restoring Visa Status
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I’m currently dealing with an unexpected legal situation that’s affecting my ability to stay in the U.S. as an international student. It all started recently from something as small as a traffic ticket — just for expired tags. What I thought was a minor issue turned out to have serious consequences on my immigration status.
Due to recent policy changes and the use of automated systems, I was flagged through an AI-based review process that identifies international students with any kind of violation — even something as simple as a traffic ticket. I want to be clear: I have never been involved in any form of protest, political activity, or anything against the government. This entire situation came from a basic, non-criminal traffic matter.
Because of how things escalated, I had to work with immigration attorneys, and the legal fees have been overwhelming. With their help, I’ve been able to secure a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO), which allows me to remain in the country for now while I go through the proper steps to fix my status.
I’m raising funds to help cover the legal expenses — including consultations, court filings, and document processing — required to resolve my case and restore my F-1 student visa. Your support will not only help me manage these costs, but it will also give me the chance to return to school and continue my education, which means the world to me.
I’m keeping this fundraiser anonymous due to the personal nature of my case, but I truly appreciate every person who reads, shares, or contributes. Thank you for giving me hope and helping me move forward.
