Hi, my name is Amy, and I am a mom to three beautiful children. Right now, I’m facing some of the most challenging struggles of my life. I’ve been diagnosed with Complex PTSD, OCD, ADHD, Generalized Anxiety, treatment-resistant depression, Hashimoto’s disease, and Lupus (SLE). These conditions are not just names to me—they’re part of my daily reality, and they impact everything I do, from caring for my kids to simply being present in the world around me.

I’ve been fighting these battles for as long as I can remember. Some days, it feels like the weight of everything is too much to bear, and I can’t always be the mom I want to be. The racing thoughts and overwhelming anxiety make even simple tasks feel impossible. I often find myself avoiding public spaces due to the stigma around mental health struggles and the fear of judgment.

Despite all of this, I am not giving up. I’m actively seeking treatment, including starting ECT therapy, and I’ve already taken big steps toward my healing, including a four-month stay in California at a rehab facility for mental health. But the journey is far from over, and I need help.
