Aid Amber's Recovery: Conquer Cancer Together

My brother's wife, Amber, has been diagnosed with cancer. They're going through a difficult time, and insurance is only covering a selected percentage. They've become overburdened with mounting bills.

She's had a difficult surgery where they had to cut far into her underarm area. Since then, she is dealing with a very painful infection, where her mastectomy repair has been removed.

From Amber -
So here's a rundown of what I'll be going through for the next 6 months.
First, I have to get a CT scan, bone scan, and echocardiogram on the 15th to be sure there's nothing suspicious going on before I start treatments.

Then if that's all clear (which we expect it will be), I'll be set up to have a port placement. Then I will begin chemo (AC-T), which includes 1 infusion every 2 weeks for 8 weeks (4 doses).

After that, I'll be getting the Taxol infusion, which involves 12 doses for 12 weeks (once a week).

Next, I'll get 5 weeks of radiation (this will be daily, yuck!). And when that's all complete, I'll be on that cancer pill for 5 years.

Unfortunately, the side effect of chemo is hair loss, but I won't be going down that easy. I'll be doing the cold cap treatment during my infusions to help keep that from happening (pray for me!).

Honestly, work is therapeutic for me. It allows me out of my sad thoughts and into straight work mode, so I plan to work in between all these treatments and get my hours in as needed.

THANK YOU!
Pray for me!!
Love y'all,
Amber
