Aid Amaryllis's Battle with Kidney Disease
Donation protected

My name is Amaryllis Ordonez, and I am a 49-year-old wife, mother, grandmother, and a devout Christian who loves the Lord. I was diagnosed with Stage 5 (End Stage) Polycystic Kidney Disease earlier this year. Unfortunately, my disease has progressed to the point where I am either in need of a miracle from God or a kidney transplant. I am currently doing a lot of screenings and medical tests so that I can be presented before the medical board to finally be put on the Transplant List at Tampa General Hospital.
Each of these doctor's visits has come with an added expense of co-pays and patient responsibility expenses that my husband and I did not expect. I do have medical insurance, but even with that, we are still having to come out of pocket for specialists, extensive testing, and medications that our insurance only partially covers. We have tried our best to keep up with all of these current expenses, but we found ourselves struggling to stay afloat while we fear the expenses that are yet to come, such as dialysis, surgery, recovery, missed work, etc.
We ultimately wish that we can find a living donor, but we also are in need of financial blessings so that we can focus primarily on my health. My goal is to be able to pay off already existing hospital bills from when I was first diagnosed, catch up on our other medical bills from doctors and specialist visits and medical procedures already done that have accumulated since I've been diagnosed, and create a "cushion fund" that will cover as many future expenses as possible. I really do not know what to expect, but based on what has been told to me by my TGH case worker and previous kidney recipients that I know and have met, this is a tough road physically, mentally, AND financially.
Please assist as much as you are led to, either financially or prayerfully (or both) as I go through this journey to find my donor.
