Help Rebuild and Restore After a Series of Unfortunate Events
Hi, my name is Amanda, and I’m reaching out for help during a challenging time. Life has thrown one obstacle after another my way recently, and I’m doing everything I can to stay afloat. However, I’ve reached a point where I can’t do it alone.
It all started when a produce truck tried to turn around in my driveway, damaging my home. The truck pulled out siding and soffit, leaving my house exposed. When roofing and siding companies came to assess the damage, I was hit with even more bad news: the house has lead paint and no weatherproofing under the current siding. Unfortunately, the company responsible for the initial damage will only cover the repairs they caused—not the additional issues that were uncovered.
To make matters worse, the truck also tore up my front lawn and caused damage to the retention wall, adding even more to the growing list of repairs.
As if that weren’t enough, I’ve been dealing with a lingering health issue for the past four months. I’m in need of an MRI to confirm neuropathy in my foot, but the costs are overwhelming.
On top of this, my 24-year-old car, which I rely on to get to my three jobs, is starting to fall apart. It needs an oil pan replacement, brake repairs, and fixes for power steering issues. Unfortunately, I can’t afford the repairs or a replacement.
I’m not asking for the entire cost of these challenges to be covered—just enough to help me keep my home and prevent things from spiraling further out of control.
Your support would help me:
- Repair my home and address the lead paint and weatherproofing issues.
- Fix the additional damages to my lawn and retention wall.
- Afford necessary medical care, including the MRI to diagnose my foot issue.
- Repair or replace my car so I can continue working my three jobs to stay afloat.
Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world to me. Your kindness and generosity would provide much-needed relief and hope during this incredibly tough time.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering a donation. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign with others who might be able to help.
So much Gratitude to you
