We wanted to share a difficult update on Alyssa’s journey. Unfortunately, her cancer has spread to her liver and lungs, and she will soon be starting EDP chemotherapy. As part of this next phase of treatment, Alyssa will have a port placed and will undergo scans every 4–5 weeks to closely monitor how her body is responding.

This season brings so many unknowns and has been incredibly overwhelming, both emotionally and financially. Between frequent appointments in Traverse City, ongoing overnight trips to Ann Arbor, rising medication costs, and the need for additional support, Alyssa and her husband, Wyatt, will be relocating to the Saginaw area to be closer to family during this time.

Every dollar raised will go toward helping cover medical expenses, travel, medications, and the costs of relocating, so Alyssa can focus on what matters most — getting through treatment and taking things one step at a time.
