Aid Alicia Miller's Journey to Reclaim Life

My name is Georgina, and I am the owner of Legal Nurse Consultants USA. Our mission is to empower patients and medical professionals to assert their rights in the face of injury. Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart to share the harrowing experience of one of our dedicated team members, Alicia Miller.

On the evening of August 3rd, 2024, I received a distressing call that would change our lives forever. Alicia, a full-time nurse, and integral part of our legal nurse consultant team was involved in a devastating head-on collision. The impact was so severe that she was trapped in her trunk, requiring rescue personnel to cut her free before she could be airlifted to the nearest trauma center.

The accident was witnessed by her young daughter, who was in the car with her at the time—thankfully unharmed—and by her husband and two other children who were following behind. Alicia bore the full force of the collision, sustaining multiple fractures from her toes to her neck. She has bravely undergone surgeries for rod and pin placement at various sites.

At the time of the accident, Alicia and her family were traveling and were six hours away from home. She has spent the past eight days in the ICU, fighting for her life. At some time she will prepare for discharge to an inpatient facility, we are faced with the reality that she will require ongoing care to manage both the emotional and physical toll this tragedy has taken on her.
