Aid Ali in Overcoming Grief and Hardship
Donation protected
Way back in the 90’s, this good lookin' man with a GREAT smile started working with Ali and myself at TGI Friday’s. Reg was trying real HARD to get Ali to go out with him, but she wouldn’t.
After Reggie being persistent, she finally realized that he was different. He was hard-working, a family man, energetic, LOVED BIG, funny, and just a genuine person. If Reggie loved you, he would do anything in the world for you. He was such a big soul!!!
Fast forward almost 30 years…
In the fall of 2024, Reggie received some devastating news and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer.
While he began to undergo treatments, his wife Ali stayed by his side and cared for him. She tried to keep the money coming in while running Pop’s Spot, but the money coming in wasn’t enough. Rent and other bills got backed up with no money coming in. Truly, wouldn’t we all put the people we love 1st? That’s what Ali did.
On February 21st, clear across the world in India working, trying to provide for her family, Ali got the worst news of her life—that her husband, best friend, lost his battle with cancer.
Right now, Ali is experiencing the worst grief that she’s been through. Grief can be paralyzing. Grief is different for everyone. Her whole world just left the earth…
When I checked on her to see how she was doing, she said, “I feel like I can’t breathe.”
It’s going to be a long road ahead for her and her family. To make it easier on her, take a weight off of her shoulders, I’m asking if there is anything that you can do to contribute to help her get back on her feet and even ahead.
Think of what we could do for her if EVERYONE who loved Reggie could even contribute $20. Every little bit can help!
If you’re not able to donate, it would be helpful if you could pass this page along to other friends whose lives Reggie and Ali touched.
